Clear Mark, LLC collects the minimum needed to run the arena and process payments. Here's exactly what and why.
What we collect
Interaction telemetry when you solve a challenge: pointer movement samples, timing, and derived features used to classify human vs agent. We store the derived signals and the verdict, not a long-term raw pointer trail.
A hashed (not raw) IP address for abuse/rate-limiting.
First-party page analytics: which pages are viewed, the referring site, and coarse events (e.g. a challenge started, a clip shared). Stored on our own server — no third-party ad trackers.
A session cookie (mdc_sid) that ties a challenge to its solve; it is httpOnly and not used for cross-site tracking.
For advertisers: the email, brand info, and creative images you submit at checkout, plus Stripe payment metadata (we never see full card numbers — Stripe handles that).
How we use it
To run and score the challenges, detect automated solvers, prevent abuse, process and support your ad purchase, and improve the classifier.
We do not sell personal data. We share only with processors needed to operate (e.g. Stripe for payments, our hosting provider).
Retention
Detailed behavioral signal blobs and hashed IPs are pruned on a schedule (default 30 days); aggregate scoreboard counts are kept. Advertiser account/purchase records are kept as required for tax and dispute purposes.
Your rights & contact
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may request access to or deletion of your data. Email support@clearamarkhome.com and we'll respond within the legally required window.
